Caroline Nokes MP
Caroline Nokes, MP, the Cabinet Office minister, is the daughter of Roy Perry, Leader of Hampshire County Council since 2013. In October 2017, Caroline Nokes was in the press as a result of her failure to obtain planning permission to convert a dilapidated barn into a separate residence for her parents to live in. Whilst she has admitted that her parents are living in the new property, there is no Council Tax being paid in relation to the use of that property!
It is totally unacceptable for a junior minister in the service Government to flagrantly flout the law in this way, and the JAC Party calls upon The Prime Minister to dismiss her as a minister and for the Conservative Party to remove the whip from her. It is equally unacceptable for the leader of Hampshire County Council to avoid paying council tax to the very council of which he is the leader, and which is currently announcing substantial cuts to public services, especially social services, due to a lack of funds!
The JAC Party also demands the resignation of Councillor Perry as Leader of Hampshire County Council and the Conservative whip should be removed from him also.

This is what the "Coach House" which was really a pair of garages and a few sheds looked like before it was converted into a residence now used by Cllr and Mrs Perry. We will be showing on this site how this was done without the owner, Caroline Nokes MP, applying for planning permission. Then you can judge for yourselves whether Cllr Perry should remain as Leader of Hampshire County Council and whether Mrs Nokes should be re-elected as MP for Romsey and Southampton North.
